As the snow flies and the days darken, we prepare for the upcoming season with great enthusiasm. It's a new year to take on past challenges and turn them into future victories. We are looking forward to a memorable 2020 and can't wait to see you soon and often!

Beginning the New Year...

As the calendar turns over and we prepare to kick off 2020, we hope to find drier weather to start the year. The month of December ended up being one of the wettest months of 2019 and significantly limited our ability to access the golf course. Fortunately, this time of year does not include maintenance necessities and our to-do list is fully populated with improvement projects. The wet conditions have allowed us to focus much of our attention on the Turf Maintenance Center which is the heartbeat of our operation. Aside from determining the most effective way to store all of the new equipment we are receiving, the ongoing task of getting our "house" in order continues. For the most part, we have completed the task of disposing of old and/or useless items and are focused on cleaning up and organizing everything that we are keeping. We are also engaged in an effort to upgrade outdated lighting and wiring throughout the facility, which will dramatically improve safety. As we move further into winter and decreasing temperatures eventually provide us with solid ground on which to work, we have high hopes for completing tree canopy thinning and removal activities around the property. Whatever this winter brings, we look forward to these improvement projects providing a solid foundation on which to build moving forward.
